august post...

hi all,
havent written for a while so today i will write a longer post.
Huntington was like always, full of crazy people, huge cars, fun waves but very inconsistent.
My heat was at the worst moment and waves only broke once, needed a 1.5 to advance and didnt find it!

After that I went to the Azores, took the earlierst flights i could get and arrived the night before the contest, lost my heat first thing in the morning.. oh well, i guess the wqs this year is really not my thing and i might as well focus on the CT!
They cancelled the men after a week of flat, we had time to go hikking on the beautiful island of Sao Miguel, i took care of my knee, flew back to France, we didnt get our bags.

Then we drove to Lacanau because Andre was competing, we got some very fun waves, i got to try new boards and one is working really good. And now I am back home for two days, before we drive to Pantin, Spain, for the last wqs of the European leg for me. A chance to do better!
My knee feels stronger and i am now able to surf 100% when there is waves, but when its small it is still a bit sour...
Thats it, hopefully i will have some good news after the Pantin contest!
